I had a fantastic stay at Hostel Alice E Padoca Vegan. The staff was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make me feel at home. The location is perfect, close to restaurants and just a short walk from the Vila Madalena Metro stop. The hostel itself is clean, cozy, and has a great vibe. The beds are comfortable and the showers are good. They even have a cute outside area where you can relax. I highly recommend this hostel for a safe and enjoyable stay in Sao Paulo.

Excelente. Precisei receber um longo telefonema e para que eu não pagasse deslocamento usando minha área, a recepicionista deixou que eu recebesse a ligação no tel do hostel. Fiquei por volta de 60 min naquele telefone e tudo bem. Pertíssimo do metro - estação vila madalena. O bairro é ótimo mas, não é muito proximo (uns 30 min de caminhada) da região dos principais bares e restaurantes. Você é muito bem tratado lá. Recomendo !!!
Pontos a melhorar é a qdade de banheiros. Tem 1 masc, 1 fem e 1 unisex nos fundos do hostel.

The staff here were absolutely amazing - they were super friendly and always went above and beyond to help me out. The location is unbeatable, just minutes away from the metro station and a short walk to all the bars and restaurants. The hostel is always kept clean, with great kitchen facilities and a delicious breakfast available. The atmosphere is incredible, with plenty of activities like yoga, film nights, and a yummy bakery. The dorms are comfortable, with handy amenities like reading lights and lockers. The bathrooms are spacious with hot showers, and the whole place has excellent wifi. Can't wait to come back and explore more of this fantastic city!

Wonderful hostel, recently opened. The location, facilities and staff can't be beat. Adriana and Denise are treasures, patient, good with information, interesting to talk to. They even went out of their way to be accommodating, taking a few of us out on the town in happening Vila Madalena, despite having to work the next day. Beautiful facilities too, cool art in the building, good breakfast, well-supplied kitchen, clean, great vibe. Helpful note: Travelers here tend to be older, quieter. Rules may be more strict than the party-hearty crowd likes, and I think that's a good thing. So the young and dumb sorts, there are places that may be better suited to you.
Not really a complaint -- I'm actually fine with it -- but just as a flag to head off potential disappointment. Towels are for rent with a deposit. The place is a little small, but I like that. Only one computer available.

The staff at this hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided great tips on city attractions and made my stay enjoyable. The location of the hostel was also convenient, with easy access to the subway station and nearby cafés and restaurants. Additionally, the hostel was well-equipped with a kitchen that had good facilities, making it great for self-caterers like myself.
One downside of this hostel was that the rooms were quite small and lacked a lot of indoor communal space. Another issue was that one of the showers was cold during my stay, which was a bit inconvenient.

the hostel is located in a safe and vibrant area with easy access to the metro and plenty of bars around. the cleanliness of the hostel was impressive and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Whether you are a tourist or someone looking for a place to stay while working in the city, Alice Hostel provides a comfortable and welcoming environment. I personally stayed for a month, even celebrating Christmas there, and felt right at home. the facilities, including the spacious bathrooms with hot showers, lockers in the dorms, and a well-equipped kitchen, were all top-notch. the breakfast offered at an additional cost was definitely worth it. I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Alice Hostel to anyone travelling alone or in a group. Cons: Nothing. Everything about my stay at Alice Hostel was great! 😄.
